 The sun, the moon, and the stars were created on the fourth day. God separated the land from the seas during the third day and called the dry land, including the mountains, earth, and the gathered waters he called the Seas.

Then he stopped and looked and saw
That the earth was hot and barren.
So God stepped over to the edge of the world
And he spat out the seven seas –
He batted his eyes, and the lightnings flashed –
He clapped his hands, and the thunders rolled –
And the waters above the earth came down,
The cooling waters came down.

DAY(S) OF CREATION: ___Day 3________

 God separated the dry land from the seas on the third day of creation. God said that the waters under the heavens be gathered together in one place for the dry land to appear.

Then the green grass sprouted,
And the little red flowers blossomed,
The pine tree pointed his fingers to the sky,
And the oak spread out his arms,
The lakes cuddled down in the hollows of the ground,

 God created the grass, the herbs yielding seed, the trees to bear fruits on the third day of creation. The earth brought forth different types of vegetation after their kind, and He saw it was good.

Over the sea and over the land,
And he said: Bring forth! Bring forth!
And quicker than God could drop his hand,
Fishes and fowls
And beasts and birds

 On the fifth day, God commanded the waters to bring forth creatures of the sea and birds that would fly over the earth. On the sixth day, God created beasts of the land after their kind that roamed the forests and the woods.
