Purpose

The purpose of this discussion is for you to demonstrate an understanding and ability to search the library for quantitative research related to the practice problem. Use the focus of the Global Burden of Disease and National Practice Problems to guide your search for a quantitative article.

You will successfully demonstrate your library search skills to identify evidence.

The authors adopted a prospective RTC on patients diagnosed with DFU defined as non-healing, confined to a single anatomical location, and existing for ≥ 12 weeks. Moreover, the authors compare two dressing strategies in a random sequence, i.e., platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and saline dressing interventions for diabetic foot infections. Consequently, the authors present PRP as a significant intervention for diabetic foot infection compared to saline dressing. The flawlessness of structure, detailed explanation of concepts, and conclusion make this article enjoyable.
