Review this week’s lesson and required readings. Then, imagine yourself in the following scenario: You are a clinical nurse educator working on a busy telemetry stepdown unit. You have a total of seven student nurses under your instruction today and you need to complete a medication competency evaluation for all seven students. This is a summative evaluation. Students must pass this evaluation to move forward to the next course in the program.

Address the following: 

  1. Describe the process you will use to evaluate the performance of each student.
